Massachusetts Human Resource Fund, Inc. (MHRF)
A publicly supported non-profit organization established to facilitate human service and community development projects to address pressing social and economic needs.
As an umbrella organization, MHRF carries out a broad range of services that encourage community involvement at the grass roots level on up through community leadership, spearheading and coordinating economic initiatives. MHRF encourages the participation of private-sector and governmental entities to engage in public-private partnerships that will create new opportunities for development and education in economically distressed communities.
MHRF objectives strive to help broker investment in improved infrastructure and industry to elevate conditions for employment, education and culture, housing, health care, and nutrition. MHRF establishes and supports project committees to design and develop programs to accelerate prospects for community self-help. Efforts to achieve progress in the communities includes financial, technical and administrative assistance.
Engaging, training and monitoring community members as project managers to become better-skilled to help improve their own socioeconomic condition is a main focus of MHRF, in the belief that self-reliant community endeavor is the best option for helping to relieve chronic overdependence on government entitlements.
MHRF’s non-profit and tax-exempt structure provides advantages in planning and implementation of projects that will maintain economic efficiency with strict regard to regulatory compliance and transparency in management, required to meet all standards. MHRF will orient, train and assist project managers with compliance procedures that will protect and benefit their community objectives and efforts.
