Project Description
The Smart Village REIT Initiative (SVRI), is a concept to register a qualified national “Real Estate Investment Trust” (REIT) with over 100 investors, all sharing in the multiple benefits of preferential tax treatment in the scalable formula of the Smart Village concept under the New Markets Development Fund sponsored by MHRF, Inc. The “Smart Village” consists of the production in tranches of 100-plus units of affordable modular/pre-fab housing starts in suburban and rural areas geared toward home-affordability for responsible hard-working Americans. The Villages will exist with “behind-the-meter” ground-mounted community PV solar fields. co-mingled with accommodating rooftop solar shingles (designed by Solar City) and electrical storage, along with state-of-the-art climate-controlled, computerized, indoor hydroponics farming facilities. The Villages could very well be self-sufficient with food and energy in a time of crisis. They will be built on land with adequate egress and accessibility to shopping, employment, and schools.
Co-generation, or combined heat and power (CHP), is a key component of Smart Village Concept and is a process that simultaneously produces electricity and useful heat from a single source of fuel. This system optimizes energy efficiency by using what would otherwise be waste heat from electricity generation. This system optimizes energy efficiency by using what would otherwise be waste heat from electricity generation. We are developing combined clean energy power (Co-Gen) systems to power our 100 acre smart Smart Village Initiatives. Our smart villages include amenities such as walk paths, agricultural sites powered by photovoltaic solar energy for housing, manufacturing facilities, and community amenities.
