Your Impact: A Veteran’s Success Story
After serving his country, Army veteran Carlton faced an uncertain future when his apartment complex was bought out. As renovations began, he realized he would soon be priced out, unable to afford the higher rent rates that came with the new ownership. Faced with the urgent need to relocate, Carlton found himself in a difficult position—his new home required the first month’s rent and a security deposit, expenses he couldn’t afford while still paying rent at his current place.
That’s when National Veterans Homeless Support (NVHS) stepped in. Understanding the urgency of his situation, NVHS provided the $1,100 needed for his security deposit and first month’s rent, ensuring he wouldn’t face homelessness.
